2023/2024 NDLEA Recruitment  Application Form is out |

Those who have finished high school, polytechnic education, or university education are qualified to submit an application online, as per the requirements provided by the NDLEA. The submission period for applications will be extended for a limited period of time to a maximum of two weeks.

NDLEA Recruiting Available Posts

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is looking for competent applicants to fill full-time posts in the following cadres at the moment:

1.) SUPERINTENDENT CADRE (Cadre Supérieur) (General Duties or Specialists)

CONPASS (08) Prerequisites for the Position of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational establishment

• New York State Civilian Reserve Corps Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate.

One of the Deputy Superintendents in Charge of Drugs (CONPASS 9)

The following degrees or their equivalents are required: LL.B, BL, B.Eng (with COREN), B.Pharm, or similar.

• If you finish the course successfully, you will be promoted to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I. (CONPASS 9).

Assistant Superintendent for Controlled Substances (CONPASS 10)

Requirements: • MBBS or DVM

• If you finish the program successfully, you will be promoted to the position of Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10).

2.) NARCOTIC AGENT CADRE Qualifications for the Chief Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (07) Position:

• Registered Nurses and Midwives, Pharmacy Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Dental Technicians, or an equivalent from a recognized institution of study • Nigerian Certificate of Education

Senior Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (06) Requirements:

• A National Diploma (ND) or an education that is equal to the ND from a reputable educational institution.

Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (05) Requirements:

• A minimum of five credits in English and mathematics from either the SSCE or GCE or the NABTEB.


Assistant to the Narcotic Chief – CONPASS (04)

The minimum requirement is four credits in SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB, one of which must be in mathematics or English language.

Narcotic Assistant II – CONPASS is the official title (03)

The minimum requirement is three credits in either mathematics or English language from either the SSCE or GCE or NABTEB.

Artist, Mechanic, Driver, Cleaner / Gardener, etc.

The completion of an accredited secondary school program or a Trade Test grade of either II or III is a requirement.

You are need to satisfy the following legislative conditions in order to submit an application for NDLEA Recruitment:

• Have been born in Nigeria and be in possession of a National Identification Number (NIN) • Having a working knowledge of computers is a desirable quality for all cadres.

• A certificate or qualification that was not disclosed or offered and accepted at the time of recruitment is ineligible to be submitted later for career development within the Agency. This applies to both voluntary and required submissions.

• Physically healthy and able to provide a medical clearance certificate issued by a government-run health care facility

Requirements for age include the following:

• For the first category, you must be at least 20 years old and no more than 35 years old.

• The second and third categories have the following age requirements: 30 years old and not less than 18 years old at the time of admission.

• Medical Doctors and Drivers of Articulated Vehicles: A minimum age of 40 years is required for consideration.

• Men must have a minimum height of 1.65 meters to meet the height requirement.

• Females must measure at least 1.60 meters in height.

• In order to practice medicine or an allied health profession, one must have a valid practising license. In order to practice law, one must first have been admitted to the bar.

• Must not use illegal drugs, have a clean criminal record, and have never been convicted of a crime of any kind.

While submitting applications online, you are required to provide a personal email address as well as a personal phone number.

How to Submit Your Application for the NDLEA Recruitment

On March 12th, 2023, the application gateway will become available online.

To submit your application for the NDLEA recruiting for the year 2023, please click on the link below and follow the guidelines very carefully.

To register, you must first pick a category from the drop-down menu that appears when you click the “Apply Now” button.

Please fill out the form, and then submit the following documents that are required:

• a photograph for the passport • educational certificates • a certificate of state origin • a birth certificate or declaration of age • a national identity card • a certificate of discharge or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps


Be sure you pay close attention to the instructions, and submit any and all papers that are requested. Candidates that made the cut will be contacted to participate in additional testing and interviews. Applicants who are selected for an interview will need to complete further types of screening, and after they begin working for the Agency, they will be subjected to random testing to determine whether or not they have used illegal drugs. If you submit more than one application, you will be disqualified.

Please take note that the deadline for submitting applications to the NDLEA Recruiting program is April 8th, 2023.

• After submitting their online applications, applicants are obligated to download and print their picture slips before submitting their materials. They are also required to download reference forms, get them filled up by two respected members of the society according to the instructions on the form, and bring them with them when they go in for the screening or interview.
